Directed by Professor Vicki Birchfield, Georgia Tech’s new First-Year Fall Abroad (FYFA) Program selects 50 newly admitted students to study at the Georgia Tech-Europe campus. This innovative program leverages Georgia Tech’s European campus in Metz, France to provide a high-quality, experiential learning opportunity for students who wish to internationalize their college career from the very start. The program begins with the summer session in Atlanta (as part of iGniTe), and continues to France for the Fall followed by students returning in the Spring semester to complete their first year on the Atlanta campus.
