Graduate School

The Sam Nunn School fit all the criteria I considered when researching graduate schools. The school’s location at a top technical university and its incorporation of science and technology into its curriculum was a distinguishing quality. Also, the Nunn School’s membership in the prestigious Association of Professional Schools of International Affairs (APSIA) connoted to me that an education here would be rigorous, rewarding, and recognized.

Nunn School Degree

I am glad I chose to attend the Nunn School. My education here has enhanced my preparation for a career in international affairs, and I have enjoyed studying under the outstanding tutelage of the school’s professors. I am delighted to be joining its network of distinguished alumni.

Academic and Professional Opportunities

From the onset of my studies here, I have been impressed by the Nunn School’s excellent communication of available academic and professional opportunities. In fact, one notice inspired me to apply and be accepted to present a paper at a symposium at Georgetown University.

Advice to Potential Applicants

I would advise potential applicants to (1) clearly convey why they believe the Nunn School would be the best place for them to achieve their academic and/or professional goals and (2) inquire as to which career paths alumni have taken.

Most Memorable Experience

This is a difficult question. Senator Nunn, General Breedlove, and Admiral Winnefeld's visit to my Global Issues and Leadership classes is among the most memorable experiences that I am glad I had during my time here.
